Dr. Minor is a Board Certified General Surgeon. He is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. He received his general surgery training at Charleston Area Medical Center/West Virginia University Charleston Division in Charleston, WV. He completed his undergraduate education at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Southeastern Surgical Congress. He has presented at the Southeaster Surgical Congress and the West Virginia Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He has also published in editions of the American Surgeon.
Interests
Dr. Minor has a particular interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, having obtained his Intuitive Robotic Certification. He also has interests in endoscopy, colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery, surgical oncology, emergency trauma care, pediatric surgery, and hernia repair.
When Dr. Minor is not taking care of patients, he enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with his wife and dog.
